Web Designing Process and Requirement

Please consider this article to understand the process followed by Frontend Designers.

When it comes to starting a web page design first thing that comes to mind is what is the requirement and for whom we are Designing the page so for this we ask the client for all the requirements like what is your Reference and is there any wireframe are available from client end. Also, we asked for some assets like brand Guidelines, logos, Font, Icons & Colors before we start working on his project. We will get an idea of your requirement and what kind of website design you need.

Along with this, we follow 4 steps when we start designing the website.

1. Project Discover:- This step is the main step where project details will be shared or we can say project discovery starts with defining the project. In this process, our sales team and the designing team schedule a kickoff meeting with the client and know the requirements of the project and take care of all the requirements of the project and discuss the problems and find out the solution. Project Discovery is a service or a process that helps the Client’s Business and the design team clearly define project requirements and major technological drivers to achieve particular business goals. The main goal of the Design Discovery stage is to create key project priorities and requirements that will guide the design team throughout the entire design and development life cycle. Design Discovery usually involves the client, Senior Developer, business analyst, Senior Designer, and Team lead.

By conducting Project Discovery, you get the following deliverables:

  • Create a communication plan
  • Defined the project requirements
  • User needs
  • what should we do list will be clear
2. Ideation, information architecture, and prototyping:-This phase is the base of the web design process. As we discussed above the brand guideline, wireframes, and assets we used here is the same.  Wireframes and prototypes are major components of any website, allowing you to see how it's organized and how it will function.

You'll get the following deliverables from our Information Architecture service:

  • Content
  • Recommended site
  • User flows
  • Wireframes and prototype
3. User Interface Design:-In this Phase we start designing the Website where we give the visualization of the requirements of the client and the business and our brand guidelines, needs, color, fonts help us to create a website.UI Design is not only about the usual component we created but UI Design also establishes your brand identity, making your product stand out.
  • We start the UI design process by defining the layout of the design. Our designer decides on a preliminary product structure and considers what guidelines to follow.
  • Based on this information, our designer will create mockups and any other graphics (icons, banners, illustrations, animations, etc.) required for the visualization. The UI designer will also create a reference guide and comprehensive style for the project, which allows us to increase the speed of development and maintain visual consistency.

4. Testing and evaluation:-This is a Final Phase of the Web Design Process where we do the maximum of our attention to the testing. In this phase, we test the design in all perspective manners and do the changes according to those perspective manners. Here Perspective Manners of Design are Container size, Similar Font Weight, Button Design, and Color and Modules we are created in the design. If our Design is fulfilling all the needs of perspective manners of testing then we will send the design to the client for review and start the work on development after confirmation on the design.
