Video Services Processes on Clickup

Click-Up Overview



Click-up is a task management tool that can help team members work more effectively. Initially the operation team creates the project and Subtask. Project Manager distributes them to the respective team members, and monitors task progress with ClickUp. Subtasks, due dates, and comments are just a few of the tools that ClickUp offers to improve task management.

Checking the Overview of the project: (Video)


Navigate to  the left hand side of the tool. Click on ‘Service Video’.you can see the list of projects created by the ops team. Click on the desired ‘Project’. On the right hand side, You can see the scope of work on top of the screen. Such as project asset, duration, type of the video and the other details.



Here how to assign the task to the team: (Video)


Navigate to  the left hand side of the tool, you can see the list of projects created by the ops team. Click on the desired ‘Project’. On the right hand side below the scope of work you can see a list of Main tasks created by the ops team. Most of the main tasks will have a subtask.Click on the task you want to assign. Select team members to whom tasks need to be assigned by searching their name, click assigned. 


For ex: Storyboard tasks need to be assigned to any of the team members. Click on “Video Production”, you can see the “Create storyboard” as a subtask along with several subtasks that fall under the same. Opposite to ‘Create Storyboard’ you find the field to assign the task to team members. Search their name by and assign.



Where/How to log time for project: (Video)


You can track your time in the assigned task. This will help you to manage your overall time taken to complete the certain task. Click on the assigned task. 

An enlarged pop up window will appear. On the top right hand side of the window, You will see the project details such as ‘Created’ and ‘Time Tracked’. Click on the Time Tracker toggle and Select the Timer icon to start the timer. Once the task is completed, click on toggle to stop the timer. you can see the total time consumed to finish the task.



Manage Project Status: (Video)


Navigate to the left hand side of the tool. Click on ‘Project Video’. You will see the list of projects created by the ops team. Based on current project stages, update the project status accordingly. You will see different sections such as Script writing,Storyboard,Animation,Revision,Delivered.Ideal,Review and Archived. Make sure that the fields are updated. Start Date, End Date and Due Date. Based on every project status, update the comment accordingly.


The project status will be changed according to the team task. Once the project is successful, Update the review points and the directory under the ‘Reviewed On’ and the ‘Ratings' section on the right hand side of the Panel.



Post rating , make sure to change the stage to "Archive" so that it can be archived by the ops team.
