How you can set-up user notification emails in HubSpot

Set user notifications to alert you when various actions or activities occur in your HubSpot account. 

Set up your HubSpot notifications:

  • Click the Settings icon in the main navigation bar in your HubSpot account.
  • Go to Notifications in the left sidebar.
  • Click the EmailDesktopOther apps and Mobile app tabs to set the type of notifications you would like to receive.

Email

How you get notified

  • Click to toggle the switch on to receive email notifications to your inbox.

What you get notified about 
  • Search and expand the notification topics and select the notification checkbox.
  • To clear all notifications, select Clear all preferences under What you get notified about section. 

Desktop

 

How you get notified

There are three different types of desktop notifications. Switch on or off the toggle for each of the notification types.

  • Bell: notifications will appear as a red badge on the bell in your navigation bar. Click on the bell to view recent notifications.
  • Pop-up: notifications will appear on the screen when you are signed in and active in your HubSpot account.
  • Browser: notifications will be sent to your browser when you're logged in to HubSpot, but not active in your HubSpot account. 

Sound and Appearance

  • Select the checkbox Play a sound when you receive a new pop-up notification to enable the sound. 
  • Select the checkbox Display a red dot in your browser tab when you have unread bell notifications to enable the display of red dot for unread bell notifications.

  • To clear all notifications, select Clear all preferences under What you get notified about section. 

Mobile app

 

How you get notified

Push and in-app notifications will be sent to your mobile device (iOS or Android). You can also change your mobile notification settings in the HubSpot mobile app.

What you get notified about 

  • Search and expand the notification topics and select the notification checkbox.
  • To clear all notifications, select Clear all preferences under the What you get notified about section.
