The scope of the project includes the production of a SaaS Explainer video, incorporating SaaS UI animation with a standard duration of up to 1 minute.

Purpose

The purpose of the SaaS Explainer video is to effectively communicate the features, benefits, and functionality of the SaaS product/service to the target audience. It aims to engage and educate viewers, highlighting the value proposition of the product/service.

The SaaS Explainer video can be utilized on various platforms, including websites, landing pages, social media, email campaigns, and presentations

Deliverables

  1. One video will be delivered in .mp4 format in Full HD definition (And in the selected Aspect Ratio)

Video Elements

SaaS Explainer video is divided into two main parts: Product UI and Non-UI. Below are the specific details for the SaaS Explainer video type:

  2. Professional On-screen Actor: A professional actor can be included in the video to enhance the visual appeal and authenticity. (Male or female, based on your requirements)
  3. Professional Voiceover Artist: We can arrange for a professional voiceover artist with a specific tone or accent, as requested by the client. (Male or female, based on your requirements in language of your preference)
  4. Subtitles: Subtitles can be added to the video to improve accessibility and viewer experience. We can also create subtitles in different languages.
  5. Excess Duration: Any video type extending the standard duration of 60 seconds. 
  6. Fast Delivery: We understand the importance of timely delivery. We offer expedited delivery options to meet your deadlines. Additional charges may apply based on the project's complexity and the standard delivery timeframe, i.e. 24 working days. 
  7. Revisions: We offer 2 revision rounds to ensure client satisfaction. Additional revision rounds can be accommodated at an additional cost.
  8. Multiple Video Aspect Ratio: Customization of the video aspect ratio to suit different platforms and screen sizes. (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube)

Process

To ensure your satisfaction, we've divided our SaaS Explainer Video Production process into two phases: Pre-production and Production.

Pre-production Phase

  1. Placing order: To  begin with the process, you need to place the order on the Client portal and provide your detailed requirements by submitting the Intake form. 

    We'll start by getting to know your business, competition, and target audience, so we can create a video that perfectly fits your needs.

  2. Scripting: We can either use a script provided by the client or we can write it for an extra fee. 
    • [Add-on] Script: If needed, we can develop a conversational script from the client's brief for an additional fee. You'll have up to 2 free revisions to ensure the script is perfect. 
  3. Storyboard: A visual representation of the video's scenes and transitions. You'll have up to 2 free revisions to finalize the illustrations. 
  4. SaaS UI Recording: If applicable, we'll create a high-definition screen recording from the Client's Sandbox access, showcasing the tool's user interface.
  5. Voiceover: We'll provide a voiceover in the language and accent of your choice. There would be no revision in a recorded voice. (Male or female, based on your requirements)

Production Phase

We'll produce the video using industry-standard software such as After Effects, incorporating the script, voiceover (if selected), storyboard, and product UI recording. Our skilled team will handle the editing process to create a compelling and visually appealing video.

  • Music and Sound effects: We'll incorporate appropriate background music and sound effects to enhance the overall viewing experience. 
  • Animation and Compilation: Custom animation and visual elements will be created to bring the video to life.

Client Communication

All communication related to the video project will happen on the Client Portal. Response turnaround time: 24 hours. Emails or scheduled calls can be used for strategic communication.

Schedule of Deliverables

The standard turnaround time for producing video is 24 business days. In case of a faster turn-around, you can opt for a suitable add-on. (Refer to pricing table above)

Note:

  1. One open video request at a time
  2. The turnaround time starts after we have received all the required information related to the project and nothing is pending from the Client’s side. E.g. If Figma access or branding guidelines are pending, the video production time doesn’t start.
  3. The turnaround time doesn’t include the time we wait for the Client’s review and revisions. For example, If the script is delivered for review on day 3 and the client sends feedback on day 5 (two days was client revision time), the clock for video production time starts from day 6. 

Revisions

  1. Two rounds of revisions at each stage. E.g. Suggestions given on two different dates are considered as two rounds
  2. We will proceed to the next stage only after receiving a "final approval" message from you. "Final approval" means that you explicitly use the words "approved" or "final" in your message.
  3. Any revisions requested in a previous stage after the final approval will be assessed for additional effort. We will inform you of any associated fees before making the revisions.
  4. If the final video does not meet the original instructions or misses any requirements, we will make the necessary revisions at no additional cost. However, if there is a change in the scope or design requirements, subsequent deliverables will be charged.

Example: If the script and storyboard were approved in the previous stage, but changes to the script are needed after the first video draft is sent (no changes to the storyboard), there will be a charge of $100 for the script changes. In case both script and storyboard need updations, it would cost $100 for each.


Please note that any revisions mentioned above may affect the delivery schedule. 

Rationale: Revisions take time and incur additional costs. If the original instructions are followed, but the project scope changes or there are changes from a previous stage, the entire process needs to be repeated. This requires additional effort from the scriptwriter, storyboard artist, voiceover artist, and video editor to synchronize everything again.

    Yes, you can provide your own script for the video. However, if you prefer, we also offer script writing services at an additional fee to ensure a more detailed and engaging script.
  13. Can I choose a specific voiceover artist or accent for the video? 

    Absolutely! We can arrange for a professional voiceover artist with a specific tone or accent as requested by you. This helps create a customized and authentic experience for your viewers. (Note that this falls under an add-on and would incur an additional fee.) 
  14. Do you offer subtitles for the videos? 

    Yes, we can add subtitles to the video to improve accessibility and enhance the viewer experience. We can also create subtitles in different languages upon request. (Note that this falls under an add-on and would incur an additional fee.) 
  15. What if I need a video with a duration longer than the standard duration mentioned? 

    For videos exceeding the standard duration, we offer an "Extended Duration" add-on. This allows us to accommodate longer videos while ensuring the additional time and effort required are accounted for.
  16. What happens if I need to make changes to the script after multiple rounds of revisions? 

    In such cases, if changes are required to the script after two rounds of revisions, there will be a charge of $100 for the modifications.
  17. Can I request customization of the video aspect ratio for different platforms and screen sizes? 

    Absolutely! We understand the importance of platform compatibility. We can customize the video aspect ratio to suit different platforms and screen sizes, ensuring optimal viewing experiences. (Note that this falls under an add-on and would incur an additional fee.) 
  18. How can I communicate with your team during the video production process? 

    All communication related to the video project will take place on the Client Portal. We aim to respond within 24 hours. For strategic discussions, emails or scheduled calls can be used as well.
  19. What happens if the final video does not meet the original instructions or misses any requirements? 

    If the final video does not meet the original instructions or misses any requirements, we will make the necessary revisions at no additional cost. Our goal is to ensure your satisfaction with the delivered video.

    Timely feedback and approvals are essential for maintaining the project schedule. Any delay in providing feedback on the script, storyboard, or video review beyond 5 business days may impact the project timeline, and a revised delivery time may need to be requested.
