HubSpot allows you to set up meetings, call, and exchange emails with your contacts. These activities get automatically logged on records. If a contact you want to connect with is not in your HubSpot database, in that case you can manually log the activity in any record.
How to log a Call, Email, or Meeting manually in HubSpot.
- Go to Records (Contacts/Companies/Deals or Tickets) name in your HubSpot account.
- Click the name of the record and open activity panel.
- In the left window, click on the +Log icon.
- Select the activity you want to log.
For logging a call: click the activity Log a call. A new window will be opened. Click on the drop-down menu of Call outcome to categorize the call's outcome, describe the call. You can also create a task for the follow-up.
For logging an email: click the activity Log an email. A new window will be opened. Describe the email. You can also create a task for the follow-up.
For logging a meeting: click the activity Log a meeting. Click on the drop-down menu of Call outcome to categorize the call's outcome. You can also record the duration of the meeting by clicking down the drop-down menu Duration. You can also create a task for the follow-up.
