How to create Custom Properties in HubSpot

A custom property is a property that you create to meet your unique needs. Once you create a custom contact property, it becomes available on every contact record in your CRM.

Here are the steps how you can add custom properties.

1. Login into your HubSpot portal and then in the top navigation bar click on the Settings

2. On the settings page, in the left sidebar menu select Properties, click on the upper right Create property option.
3. In the right sidebar, create property by selecting appropriate Object type, Group, Label and Description, then click Next.
4. Select the Field type from the dropdown menu and click Next.
