This internal KB comprises of the structured process in regard to work schedules.
At webdew, we uphold a structured approach to work schedule management to ensure a smooth workflow and foster productivity. To maintain a harmonious work environment, we have established the following guidelines:
- Early Logout Requests:
Employees requiring an early logout must submit their requests a minimum of 24 hours before the workday commences. This advance notice allows for proper scheduling and ensures minimal disruption to the team's workflow. - Break Hour Approval:
Break hours cannot be utilized without prior approval from the respective authority. Employees should obtain approval before taking a break, and if necessary, opt for an early logout after the break period with permission. Employees are required to be available between 3:30 PM to 1:00 AM or as per the specific shift schedule mentioned on official channels/. Punctuality during these hours is crucial for team coordination and project deadlines. - Emergency Requests:
Emergency requests will be evaluated based on the situation. The acceptance of emergency requests rests solely on the discretion of the reporting manager or HR personnel. Employees must communicate the urgency and nature of the situation clearly for swift resolution. - Early/Late Login Exceptions:
Early/Late login requests due to prior personal commitments will be considered as exceptions. However, these exceptions must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance, allowing the team to adjust schedules accordingly. Acceptance will be subjected to the situation and approval of the respective Reporting Manager and HR Team. - Repercussions:
Employees must log in/start their workday as scheduled. A delay of up to 10 minutes is acceptable. However, if an employee exceeds this delay for more than 2 days in a month, a deduction equivalent to a half day's pay (HD) will be applied. This deduction occurs after two exemptions.ie from the third delay.
