webdew believes in the consistency of efforts that lead to continual growth and progress. Improvement, achievement, and success just follow our path of sincere hard work and dedication. With a lot of insight, the policies and procedures are crafted to best suit our needs to maintain a healthy, efficient, and transparent environment within the company. As you settle as a member of the company, here are a few points to always keep in mind.

 

1. Working hours

Our regular working hours are as follows:

  • Web, Videos, Marketing, HR, and HubSpot Teams: 4:30 PM to 2:00 AM IST

  • Sales and Customer Support Teams: 7:00 PM to 4:30 AM IST

Each team follows a designated 1-hour break, as outlined in their respective HR policy brief Documents. This schedule totals 8.5 working hours, Monday to Friday.

We place a strong emphasis on accurately logging the required number of working hours each day. Employees are expected to complete either a full day (minimum of 8.5 hours) or a half day (minimum of 4.5 hours) of work.

If the required hours are not completed by there respective teams log out time (i.e 2:00 AM & 4:30 AM) and/or the task assigned is not completed then the employee can work after office work hour. For any reason, if the time requirement is not fulfilled by the employee then he/she can be requested to apply for leave.

 

2. Leave Application

To apply for leave, please send an email to leaves@webdew.com. The mail should be in the format and should be sent at least 2 days in advance. Only in case of sick leave, the leave application can be sent latest by starting that day.

As an example, the format has been filled with random data.

Leave Type: Half Day (first half/second half) or Full Day

From Date: 25/11/2020

To Date: 25/11/2020

Reason for Leave: I am suffering from fever and body ache. It is my humble request to you to please grant me leave for half day.

3. Other HR concerns

4. Slack/ Click up

It is the messaging service that is used within the company. You will be added to your respective team Channel wherein you can converse with all the members of the team. Make the best use of Slack by messaging the concerned person on the channel regarding any work/concern/update/query that you may have. Kindly note that direct messages are not to be entertained by anyone except the Operations team.

You are requested to go through all the announcements made in the Announcement channel and acknowledge them today itself. A positive understanding tone of messages, at all times, is much appreciated by everyone.

 

5. Time Monitoring

To keep an efficient time log, we use the applications of Clickup and Time Doctor. Time must be switched on and off only through Clickup & Time Doctor. And the time logged must be in the correct folder/project. You may contact your Captain to seek details of the correct Clickup project/task to log time.

Time Doctor tracks the hours logged in by the employee and supports prompt monitoring. On your system/laptop, webcams must be kept enabled for Time Doctor.

  • The application takes a photo and does not make any video
  • Photos are taken at regular intervals, it is not a minute to a minute photo collection
  • Only the members with admin access can view your shots
  • The webcam shots must clear and should show you working
  • Shots wherein you are absent will account for a negative impression.

 

6. Job availability

Considering the post that you hold, it is imperative to maintain a good degree of availability. This can be enhanced by the optimum usage of smartphones. Please download Slack/ Click up and email on your mobile. During office hours, Slack/ Click up messages must be replied to within 5 mins. Before and after office hours, Slack/ Click up messages can be replied to within a stretched period of 20 mins. Promptness in replying to fellow employees and third-party contacts is essential for our business. No leniency will be showcased towards delayed replies.

 

7. Appearance

Considering the concerns raised by the Covid-19 pandemic, the company is operating on a work-from-home basis. But this in no way has lowered our professional outlook and approach. You are requested to be seated on a table and chair as you perform your daily work. As you interact with others and attend meetings, please be presentable and maintain appropriate behavior as expected while working from the office space.

 

8. Daily report

The evening (Day end) report will include a summary of tasks done throughout the day and the time consumed per task. These reports are shared on respective team Slack/ Click up channels. Please ensure that for the first 15 days, you have at least one video meeting with your team lead every day.

9. Meetings

Weekly, team meetings are conducted by Captains wherein a weekly review of work is done. These are known as Weekly Meetings and are an official commitment to be honored by all. You will participate in it soon after you join the company (Once the successful completion of the induction period).

On the last Friday of the month, a company meeting is conducted by HR wherein major announcements can be made. We also include fun activities at this meeting. It is also an official commitment. For this, you will be invited to completion of the first 15 working days from the date of joining.

 

10. Google usage

Please ensure that for all kinds of documentation, Google Drive is used. This helps regarding exceptional storage volume and ease of sharing the data.

Google calendar and Meets are to be part of daily usage.
