The technical round at Webdew is a crucial step in our evaluation process, typically following the completion of a technical task. This round is led by the respective team manager responsible for the specific profile under consideration.


Once we receive a "Yes" from the candidate in response to the technical task, we promptly reach out to discuss their availability for a time slot. Each team leader (TL) maintains their interview schedule in their calendar, ensuring efficiency in the process. If the candidate is available for the technical round, we schedule a meeting with the TL, and a recruiter is also present during this interaction.


At the commencement of the technical round, the recruiter initiates the conversation by extending greetings to both the TL and the candidate:


"Hello Ma'am and Hello [Candidate's Name],


To the candidate, we explain the nature of this round:


"This is the technical round, and it will be conducted by [TL's Name], who serves as the Team Manager of [Team Name]."


To the TL, we provide relevant information about the candidate:


"Ma'am/Sir, this is [Candidate's Name]. They are here for the role of [Candidate's Role]."


We then politely request the TL to proceed with the interview:


"Sir/Ma'am, I kindly request you to please go ahead with your questions."


During the interview, the TL asks their set of questions and evaluates the candidate's skills and qualifications thoroughly. Once the TL has completed their assessment, they express their gratitude:


"Thank you for your time."


The recruiter then takes over:


"Thank you, Sir/Ma'am."


And addresses the candidate:


"[Candidate's Name], thank you for your time. We will get in touch with you tomorrow and provide an update on the status of today's interview."


This marks the end of the interview process.


Key Pointers to Note:

  •  We ensure that the TL receives candidate details prior to the interview.
  • It is imperative that neither the candidate nor the TL discuss matters related to salary and HR policies during the interview, as this information is confidential.
  • As a reminder, please ensure that your camera is turned on, and strive to join us with a stable internet connection in a serene and conducive environment.
