How to maintain Human Resource's ClickUp

This internal KB is in regard to how to maintain Human Resource's ClickUp

ClickUp is a project management tool that we are using in webdew to keep an eye on the tasks, due dates, and many more. ClickUp is the destination for all the tasks that we perform some on a routine basis and some occasionally. It helps us to utilize our time and prioritize the requirements, however, this only is possible if the ClickUp is updated on a real-time basis.

To know the basic details on ClickUp and its usage kindly refer to https://www.webdew.com/kb/how-to-use-clickup

Please follow the mentioned pointers to keep the ClickUp updated

As per the subject of the matter, we divide subtasks and add them to the concerned task related to it.

For ex: -

  •  If there's a relieving: then a subtask will be created under the task of relieving in ClickUp, with the name of the person who is going to be relieved. And along with this, a due date will be saved for upcoming events/formalities as per relieving process.

  •   The same goes for the other subjects and tasks related to those, if there’s an onboarding the subtasks will be created in

  • Besides creating the data on tasks, we really need to focus on the due date and assignees.

Due Date: Due dates will be expected dates on/till what subtask/task needs to be completed.

Assignee: A person who will be responsible for performing the task

Now from where to one cane make these settings of due date & assignee:

 Additional tips:

  • If the task is followed on a routine then the due date for the same can be updated as the end of the month.
For example - TD monitoring, Attendance, and other similar tasks that follows under everyday activity. So the due can be 30-Nov for them.
  • For other tasks that are occasional and are only performed once in a while or on a special date, the due date for the same can be manipulated accordingly.
  • Once the work on tasks/subtasks is completed and you know you will not be using it in the near future that can be closed.  (On the top right, by clicking on the tick icon, the task will get closed)
