At Webdew, our YouTube channel, "HubSpot Tutorials by Webdew," is a treasure trove of 'How-to' videos. In our HubSpot tutorials campaign, three departments – Videos, HubSpot, and Marketing – join forces to create engaging content for regular YouTube uploads.
Pre-Production: The Foundation of Excellence
We lay the groundwork for each video during pre-production, including concept development, scripting, and asset creation. All our tasks are managed in Clickup, which helps the team members stay updated regarding project status. Please refer to this article to better understand Clickup task management.
- Brainstorming:
- Our HubSpot team leads the charge by researching new and relevant video topics, focusing on feature releases and product updates.
- Script Writing:
- After finalising topics, the HubSpot team crafts detailed scripts, which are then reviewed and refined by our Campaign Manager.
- The Marketing team ensures content relevance and coherence.
- Screen-Recording:
- Once the script is locked in, it's returned to the HubSpot team for screen recording.
- These recordings are catalogued in a shared Google sheet.
- Voice Recording:
- The Videos team manages voice recording, using Speechify for clear, engaging narration.
- Post-recording, the Marketing team takes charge of design elements.
- Thumbnail:
- Our Marketing team collaborates with graphic designers to create captivating video thumbnails and other essential marketing collateral.
Upon completing pre-production, we transition to the video production phase, which includes storyboarding and animation. Stay tuned for Part 2 to explore this process further.
